What is Trackside?
Trackside, the Teen Center of Wilton, is a safe and supervised alcohol, tobacco and drug-free gathering place where the youth of Wilton can socialized, build self esteem and develop healthy relationships after school and on weekends.
Where is Trackside?
Trackside is conveniently and centrally located on 15 Station Road, off of Route 7 where Commonfund and the Wilton Train Station are located. Please note, there is a new traffic light located immediately at our driveway.
What can teens do at Trackside?
After school Trackside offers a safe supervised haven for Middle School Students. They can have a snack, do homework, challenge their friends to X box games; and pool, ping pong or basketball, just to name a few of the available activities.
The special events for teens include Band nights, Chick Flick nights, March Madness, pizza nights and ping pong competition. Please note the events are either for Middle School OR High School Students, not all ages at the same time.
When is Trackside open?
During the school year, Trackside is opened every Wednesday and Thursday after school until 7 pm for Middle School Students. Tuesdays after school various clubs use the facilities. The High School Students can attend most Friday and Saturday nights from 5 Ð 11 pm. Approximately three month, there will be a weekend night for Middle School Students.
Who can use Trackside?
Trackside is open to all Middle and High School students who live or attend school in Wilton, except as announced for certain special events.
How is Trackside Funded?
Trackside is a 501 c (3) nonprofit organization. The Town of Wilton generously provides salaries to the employees of Trackside. All programming and operating expenses are financed through private donations, grants facility rentals.
